Great Wide Open

Right after I started working at Yaletown Sound, I was fortunate enough to get invited to work on the GWO project. Chris Aiken and I had just finished mixing the Power Onions at Yaletown, Mike Norman had lent me a bunch of gear that I was using at Hybrid Studios to produce a few demos for bands and Lee Worden was inducted into the GWO hall of fame as a bassist, vocalist and play-any-damn-instrument-that-he-can-get-his-hands-on type of guy.

It started with just engineering but eventually led to co-producing , mixing and mastering the CD. I still have fond memories of working on these songs with Mike, Chris, Lee and the rest of the boys at Yaletown Sound and Hybrid Studios. I remember we worked damn hard on a bunch of more songs, but only these 4 made the cut for the debut Ep.
